KA ring seats (rebuild - KA-T)
What do you guys think is the best way to solve the KA weak ring seats? I'm rebuilding a second KA so I can crank up the boost a little and I didn't want to upgrade pistons. Are there aftermarket rings that would help? I didn't find any threads on it or any aftermarket rings available for OEM pistons. Don't want to bore the block either..

Clevite makes premium rings for the KA. Your still putting them on weak pistons. Will it make a stronger engine? Probably not. The piston is what supports the power. The rings just seal it.
