the nismo ones are more of a spring and strut combo. For that price or a little more you can get real coilovers.

if you're looking at nismo coilovers you should be looking at these
http://www.thenismoshop.com/ikorb.ph...roduct_id=1275

bad: single height adjustable only, only fronts have helper springs so you won't be going super low right off the bat, only for s14, relatively expensive depending on what you're looking for ($1500)

good: super ridiculously comfortable when it comes to handling bumps for an 8/6 kg/mm coilover. depending on the bump it sometimes actually feels softer than flex despite the higher spring rate. i assume this means nismo knows its shit when it comes to setting shocks up for the car.

they are quality. friend has dd and drift his set for 1.5 years and they've held up fine. the downside is single height adjustable means he's 4x4'ing it because he doesn't want to droop the spring. if you want to go lower sans droop you could buy helper springs.

this is the "drop" out of the box.

tried to find an action shot for you guys but the only thing i could find was a picture of him spinning out. hope he doesn't mind. XD

hope that helps

i bet those coilovers feel way better then all the other popular brands.

too bad they don't go low.
