hey what's up guys, i need your help in buying a 1995 240sx SE

here's the deal,
-it's a 5spd SE
-power everything, but no sunroof
-202km's on the engine
-new rust proof ashfault everywhere
-car is 99% stock, only mod is the cheap panisonic cd deck..lol
-body is perfect
-interior is extra sweet
-everything is a go
BUT,
-i think the engine suffered from a recent hydro lock cause the chasis vibrates like water got in the engine from recent detailing
-and when you rev it past 3g's it sounds like something scrapes(maybe the header heatshield) and sounds like a BOV...

i was just wondering if you guys could tell me if there is anyway around it or if it's ok and drive it out?

also, is there anything else i should look for?

help me please, i came from a integra! haha

thanks

Since this is your first post Ill let it slide, but next time could you please not make this a Poll, there is another section for Polls. Thanks! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

If it indeed has been hydrolocked Id search for another 240. Im not sure how much they want for the car or you plans for the car so I cant comment on if its worth it to you, but IMO, id keep searching.

Unless you are doing a rebuild on that motor, or swapping motors, I too would search for a new car. &nbsp; Also, keep in mind that 202,000km is alot, 125k miles. &nbsp; If it was cheap enough... it'd be perfect candidate for the SR transplant.

125miles is a lot for a 95, but it all depends on the price and plans for your car.
