With an offset of +4 on 15x7 wheels, will the wheels/tires protrude out from the fenders?

YES (believe me i used have have some 0 and they stuck out about 1/2 inch)
fronts you can fix that w/ neg camber w/ camber plates rear yuo need to go neg camber too. if you keep it stock, it will still stick out. i had 0 offset on 7" wheel and even with -1.5 degrees neg camber on the rear it stuck out about 1/2 inch. +4 is great for fronts! for rear, get a slightly higher offset. a +10 is jst about perfect (but you MUST use a thinner tire, like a 205/55 series). if you get the max size you can on the 7" it will still out more (the tires sidewall) edit: what wheels are they too? just curious! hope my info helps out! EDIT 2: if you have or plan to have z brakes on Front they will NOT CLEAR. if you keep stock brakes on they will clear. same goes for z brakes on back, wont clear on back if you go z brake on rear, but if you keep stock rear, they'll clear ok! |

The wheels are Hayashi Racing from the 80's. Gold mesh with an extremely fat lip. However, +4 sounds like a little too much. I'll just keep on searching... Thinking about some +25 old school SSR's. Thanks.
These are the Hayashi's. ![]()

4mm offset is too much. I saw a black 240 coupe(nice) today, but it had rims sticking out of the fenders and they look ugly.
chokudoriS13, how come body kit are ugly?

how much is the guy asking? If it's a good deal, you can always work around these things. =) can you say "rolled fender"?
Edit: I have 15x7 +5 out rear, and they stick out about about a 1/2" or so... They DO rub the fender (actually just the left side... I wonder why), but only under heavy loads like hard cornering or going over big bumps/potholes at speed. If you can get these hayashis for a good price, I'd go for it. They may not even clear your stock front brakes; my 15x7+5s didn't!! It was weird. I like that lip though, it's looking good!

They're on Ebay right now for $355 with several hours left(shipping would be $30 for me). Ebay is down, so I can't get the link for you. The brake clearance issue worries me. What do you think of +25 offset? Would that work with stock brakes?

+25 should definitely work with stock brakes. I put a pair of my 16x7 +35s on today, and they cleared my JDM chuki 180sx brakes just fine, with room to spare. It all comes down, at this point, to spoke design. If your spokes are pretty "flat" on the inside (side facing hub/rotor) then you may have caliper clearance problems. If the spokes are "dished/raked/angled" on the inside, then they will more likely clear the brakes. I guess try to get a shot of the backside (wooOOoo! ) of those rims, to figure out whether or not they'll fit. $355 for hayashis is... well, not a BAD price, but you can get better. Maybe not in the same condition, though. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]()
