I hit 118MPH before it cut out. I wouldn't really want to go too much faster with stock suspension but I imagine it could get at least 125MPH stock.

It'd probably be drag limited between 130 and 140. Redline in 5th is about 145.

a stock shoc 240 can run 145mph? when I had a 90 integra its top speed was 125mph. I'd like to know how fast my car can go, I imagine it runs around 140mph but i'd need a new speedometer and ecu to find out.

It's a fairly easy over-simplified equation that does not take into account the increasing for of air resistance and tire drag. But you divide the rpm by the speed, then you'll get rpm per mile an hour. Then divide redline by rpm per mile an hour.
If you don't like words:
4200 / 95 = 44.2 rpm/mph
6500 / 44.2rpm/mph = 147mph
Sorry.. I know it's oversimplified.

no.

redline in 5th would be 145. but the car will not ever reach redline in 5th. It'll stop accelerating somewhere between 130 and 140 thanks to wind resistance.

JWT says a 5-speed 240 w/ just their ECU and no other mods will do 130.

Actually, no.

Redline (6500 rpm) in 5th gear (0.759:1) with the stock rear end (4.083:1) and 205/60-15 tires will get you 154.03 mph. But, as has been said, you'll never get there with the power of the KA. I would imagine 130-135 would be a good estimate...unless you were going downhill with a nice tailwind.

gear/speed calculator...use it

Eric

Either your car isn't stock and has much more horsepower (I/H/E) or you are mistaken. Also, how can you specify to the mile per hour on anything over 120? And then, you will have about 5 miles an hour error that is inherent, and relative to the speed you are going. At 80 mph, my spedo is off by 3mph (according to my turbo timer, which is hardwired to my ecu.) It will be an increasingly larger margin of error as your speed rises.
