My one concern is that 95 harness wont be able to wire correctly to my 98 KA.

it should work there may be a few connections that are different and that is just a matter of taking the corresponding parts of the 95 engine and putting them on the 98 to make it work. my buddy trung stuck a 98 engine in his 91. He just put all the 91 electronics and smog on the 98 now he is driving around with a low mileage 98 engine in his 91.

It really depends on what is the reason you are swappin. If you want all the emissions crap (unlikely) then u'll have to swap everything over. ECU, all the hoses and so on.
If all you care is a less mileage engine (most likely) then u are better off stripping the engine and jus swap the block (use the intake mani, exhaust mani and all hte other crap from the 95 and the block itself from a 98).

OBD II vs. OBD I. I'm sure you could get around it like Kre said - keep the emissions & ECU from the 95 and swap the rest from the 98. If OBD isn't an issue, you can do it all - but re-running all that wiring sucks!
