this just started the other day.
problems I'm having are:

1. when stopped and the car is just idling it will rev below 300 and the check engine will click and then it will shoot up to 1k. then it will be fine for a few minutes and will happen again. if let running happens every 3-5 minutes or so.

mods on engine are:

i have a 97 240sx kouki.
Stock ECU and MAF
S14 SR20DET Blacktop Swap
HKS FMIC w. all Piping
HKS Honey Comb Filter Kit
HKS SS Blow Off Valve
HKS 3" Downpipe
3" HT Custom Test Pipe
Apex'i N1 3" full Catback Exhaust
Koyo aluminum radiator
Nissan cooler thermostat
Flex-A-Lite dual fan
Greddy Oil pan

it was running fine for a week or 2 but as of the other day it just started happening. any ideas of what this could be ? has this happened to anyone before ?

have you cleaned your maf? checked for major boost leaks from loose IC piping etc?

i checked th IC piping and that was all tight.
i havent cleaned the maf but that will be the next thing i check
