need some help with my 92 coupe. one day the idle just got really funky all of a sudden... it bounces up and down and sometimes the car will stall out and die. also, now the check engine light is on. the car just had a tune up about 1000 miles ago. so what do i need to do??

thats most likely a clogged aiv ( air injection valve). What you can do is take off your intake tubing up to your throttle body and spray carb cleaner in your throttle body big time. Usually it will clear up after doing that for a little while but it will come back. taking off the aiv to unclog it is a real pita.
The other thing to look for is bad fuel lines and a a clogged fuel filter.

thanks i'll do that and i'll also change the fuel filter because i'm pretty sure the previous owner never had... one question though, where's the aiv at??
