ok, i got the R32 headlight off ebay for dirt cheap. I also pick up a skyline 400R front bumper off ebay as well. Here come the problem, the guy of the body shop said the headlight won't fit the front bumper i just get. Anyone have any idea that how i can use the R32 headlight with that bumper i know it will have to deal with mild modification, but what i have to do in order to make it fit? any help will be great, and need to get it fix soon, because my car have been sitting in the shop for almost 2 weeks, and haven't have anything done yet, that really pissed me off.

here is the link to the bumper

well u know that style bumper was made for the s14a right? also lets say that was a skyline, thats a R33 400R bumper not R32 thats one reason y it wont fit the bumper. i think ud have to do some cutting to the bumper or even cutting to the fenders of ur car. not toatly sure.

It would be custom work. Most likely you'll have to get a hood to match the headlights as well. And that's an s14b bumper. Not r32, not r33, its an s14 bumper. You'll probably have to fill in the fenders as well because the r32 headlights are smaller in length than the s14b headlights. Do a search on the r32 headlights. Someone test-fitted them last year and it would have looked fine if some bodywork was done.

i did search but it don't have the topic you talking about. anyways, i don't think the fender will be a problem because the headlight i got is this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot....95&rd=1

it don't have the turn signal and i'm using the original one. i only need to know and how to get it fit the bumper i got(since there are not much difference between the R32 headlight to our S14b headlight, or zenki if you prefer). I don't think that need a lot of work to do that. correct me if i was wrong though

Why do you think the the bumper work with those headlights? You have a bumper for an S14 m/c, R32 headlights and stock '95 fenders and hood if I understand correctly. NONE of those fit together properly! The bumper may fit on the car, but the lights won't fit properly on/with the bumper, and the lights won't fit properly with the hood or fenders, either.
You're looking at a lot of custom work, you know.

well, rice or not, who cares, but absolute not me . I change the bumper because my front end got hit by a stupid Dodge Ram (stupid guy still smoking after hit my car when he came out of his Ram). And I found that I can get the R32 headlight for way cheaper than i have to pay for either S14B or S14A headlight(because i have to fixed one of the headlight since it's broke), and that's projector headlight, and the R32 headlight really similar to the S14b headlight, so why don't get it when it's only 160 for a pair and in perfect condition . (I have to do a little work with the headlight with that bumper anyways, so it doesn't matter to me to do a bit more work to get the R32 fit )
I got those parts for not even close to 450 dollars(included shipping), so I'm happy with it
anyways, thanks for anyone who reply to this, and after the front get fixed, i will post the pic of how it turn out if i can if anyone want to do the same as i do

DON"T YOU GET IT??? You dont have to just get the headlights and bumper to fit. You have to:
-make the headlights fit the core support,
-cut and weld your hood to make them match the lights,
-cut and weld your fenders to make them match the lights,

This is very similar to an S15 headlight conversion except you can buy all the S15 parts(hood, fenders, bumper, core support, etc) already made to fit. That conversion costs $4,000 dollars. For all the custom work you need, it will cost much more, plus repainting the front of your car. If you were looking for the cheap way out, you should have never bought R32 headlights.

well, not for arguing or something. but fist of all, i don't need to cut or weld any of my hood to have the R32 headlight sit perfectly (don't know why you guys think i have to cut or weld the hood )
second, i also don't have to cut or weld the fender at all not sure you have see the headlight or not(the link i put up on above), It don't have the turn signal that come with it, so i'm using the factory one (may get the R32 turn signal in the future though )with a tiny gap between the headlight and the turn signal(by making a custom bracket to make the headlight sit properly), you won't notice unless you look closer enough of it.
anyways, the custom bracket don't cost much because it's just some sheet metal but it done the job
Everything turn out really good and don't cost alot to me IMO.
Still working on the left headlight since i can only work on it at night
no offense here, but you guys might get me wrong on first place, I am doing R32 headlight into zenki body, not kouki body so i don't have to work on the hood since the R32 and zenki headlight is similar beside the turn signal. anyway i got projector light for cheap and cause less compare to do kouki conversion, I don't care about the gap man
and for the S15 conversion, i don't think you need to pay for 4000 dollars for it if you search around and do it yourself. Maybe like 3000 or even less if you don't mind the parts will be fiber glass and carbon fiber(oe matel will be a different story, b/c some people dont like ithe parts that made of CF or FG).I have saw a set of fender for S14 con. to S15 only end up for three hundreds something on ebay, and i also found a set of brand new S15 headlight not even 300 US dollars on one website(i think it's still on sell, but not sure because it's on a Hong kong website ).
I think i should stop right now or i will get it trouble or something. anyways, thanks for replys and have fun with the 240sx guys

Snap some pics. I've never seen someone do this on a 240sx. Especially with no bondo. I'm really curious to see what it looks like.

for one thing thats an s14a front bumper... there was a discussion before on just using the year of prod. or using the zenki or kouki names because everyone keeps getting them mixed up...

and besides im not too sure about this but i think those are fifth gen. civic projector lights

they look the same to me

okay wait... its a little more curved on the inside... but they do look alike... sorry

you can definately do it, people have done more outrageous things.

but you wont be able to find much support because it hasnt really been done before.

i'd say you prolly will come out paying a little more for this conversion than for replacing all stock, but you will have a unique look.

dont be afraid to get a really good body shop to do your work on this one, it may cost $$$ but you have already saved a bit on parts.

i say do what you can yourself but pay someone else to do the difficult stuff right

I agree with you bing about replace it with stock parts, but the sad thing is the zenki or S14b don't have the projector headlight for sale in the stated, even the one I found in the groupbuy section, it cost around 700 to get them(remember that i got the headlight for 250, not even half of it man), and have to wait a bit b4 it get to the stated, which really a no no for me (I can't wait ).
about the pic, i will do it when i can get a hold of my friend digital cam. and i will post it up when i take a pic of it

That looks like a penis to you? Thats wierd.. I admit it looks bad. The lines dont line up at all... In regards to the s14 with r32 lights... it would look good with a different body kit. The lights are VERY similar. I think the s14 could benifit from the look and function of the lighting upgrade.

what year is your car? stop using the names zenki, kouki, s14a, and s14b, because I think your getting them mixed up. If you have a 97-98(kouki, S14a, S14MC, whatever), those lights may match up decently with your hood and new bumper. But you said you have a Zenki(which is a 95-96) those straight R32 lights will not match up with your hood, bumper or fenders.

The pictures of the red 180 with the R32 were taken by me! That car was ugly as hell. It was held on with zip ties too... LOL Looks way better in the pictures than in person. It was a complete frontend of a R32 not a kit though. Stock GTS-(t) with a Nismo bumper. I have more pics but they all look better on film then in real life.
