um why? i would assume the DE has a different compression ratio, different cams, and who knows what all else

it's not designed for boost, so why push it? just spend ur money on some forged pistons and rebuild the DET

im doen the same thing. and yeah u cant push as much boost as u can due to the 9:1 compression N/A to a 8:1 DET. and max u can boost is about 8-9Psi. past that is jst pushing the engine. but i heard it can be a beast if build right and tune right..and u can also put coilpacks on it.

u just need the DET harness. and all the good stuff for the coilpack. but u cant tune it one regular DET ECU. ud have to tune it with the power FC. so i was told.

and im down the damn thing... T25 turbo is enough. if it blows.. then maybe its time to build a REAL DET motor.

No.

Don't do this.

Also, use periods.

The biggest issue is going to be your tune, either you need to find some DET pistons to put in the DE or get a new tune for the higher CR of the DE motor. Besides that, the majority of the DET parts (COP, CAS, etc) will bolt right up with the exception of the water/oil lines... which will take some creative thinking on your part and a drill for the oil return.

Just for the record, I'm running a stock S13 DE with an S14 T28, with the only internal upgrades being a set of JWT S3 cams. I've run up to 14psi on track (HPDE/lapping days) and have had zero issues with the motor.
