well after a week of endless nights and frustration, my site is finally finished

somewat 56K friendly

My Website

the site is made out of Flash 5, if you dont have the viewer you cant view it, so go dl it!

yea i know i know, not much text, its only becuz i just finished it and havent had time to talk to my friends for info and gather pics.

ima update it with an intro soon, and embed it with html to look more clean.

shout out to Louse76 from TI.net for his gf taking the background pic!! very artistic

feedback and comments welcome. Oh yea forgot to say, my name isnt "John Saovang" thats my friends name

i tried making a website out of flash 5 but im always stuck at the design... thats why im back to a simple html style website

i know wat you mean..all i did was juss start drawing lines all over the place..straight lines, curve lines etc. and came out wiht that. i ahve about 3 more designes i did and decided to use that one since it is a lot easier to work with, but i plan to use the other ones one day...if u wanna see the other layouts just click below on the links

EDIT: all layouts are a fixed picture, except layout 5 which has animation. also i didnt put a preloader on any of these so layout 1-4 will load up quick, while layout 5 will take a while to load up fully, since its loading like a HTML site, one by one.

Cool site man. looks like a great start. I ned to learn flash and do some more work on site building. I wanna do one just for kicks I havnet messed with my tripod one in months. still gotta figure out how to get away from their stupid templates and at least into front page.

It's kinda hard to read the white letter ontop of that background pic with the head in it...just a thought.

yea my friend said the same thing, white not too good, but its better than black

i didnt wanna use any bright colors becuz it will stand out from the motif colors. ill finish in like 2 weeks, since i have skoo now, and i need to go around and get some info so yea

Wow that's a cool site but I can't read anything. The menu is really dark and the white lettering gets lost in the background image. But good work on the Flash... I've never gotten around to trying to learn it.
