Need help from KA gurus!

Okay, I have new problems, much like the old ones. I have fuel and spark. and the cames are where they should be, but the car just turns over but does not start. the distributer is tdc as well. so i dont knwo what it could be. if anyone has any bright ideas I would appreciate it. thanks.

should be fine. I got the motor from a running car and just replaced te head gasket, and other gaskets and hoses and lines.

fuel pump working well??
will it stumble? (vacumm/MAF maybe?)
plug wires in right order?
moved the dizzy around to make sure its set right?

thats all i can think of.
intake looks like all the hoses are connected?

i know you said the cams are where they are supposed to be
(pointing away from each other iirc)
but it sounds to me like you're 180 degrees off tdc.
no help I know but I've gone through this a few times and it sounds familiar.

I had this problem when I swapped my KA into my s13, if its an s13 just make sure that all of the wires are plugged in securely to your coil, then double check and make sure agian, on of mine was broked so I just braced it to the connector with a good old zip tie.

make sure all your vaccuum hoses are connected and in the right spots...

wierd of you to say that cause my bro had the same problem..is your fuel pump working?? sounds stupid to ask but thats what happen to my bros turn the key to the 2nd position befor cranking can you hear fuel pump prime if not thats your problem pm me if you find something new

Sounds like you distributor is off. Just advance the hell out of it so the car will start and stay running and back it down to 20* btdc once the car warms up.
