Zenki-->Kouki Upper bumper retainer fix!!!!
This was my way of dealing with the kouki bumper retainer being used with a zenki bumper support...
As many of you know, the middle pieces on the kouki retainer are too long... I simply cut them in half, drilled holes, and reconnected.... A simple, but practical solution |

Yeah....it fits really well....on my kit (Version select) I am fortunate that there is a "corner" on the inner top edge of the bumper that rests on a flat spot near where it meets the fender.....this carries much of the weight...
Basically, my upper retainer isn't really carrying a whole lot of the load... Still figured the idea I gave is better than just flat out cutting those pieces off, which is what i have heard from a bunch of people |
