In-Car Camera Mount

I was thinking if I should buy an in-car camera mount or make one. So I opt to make my own cuz it was like half the cost of buying one. Its a little cheezy but it works.....

looks like a pretty good design but maybe on track days the camera would be vibrating too much who knows. I just found a hole in th eback speaker shelf and put a bolt up through it and screwed the camera onto it haha

First off, It isn't secure enough to the chassis for my tastes, and since it's just kind of hanging there off to the side it flexes too much. Real track footage is likely to make you vomit with as much as it'll be vibrating.

Second, that road looks really familiar. North SD County?

Cool idea needs some other kind of mount to support the camera from vibrating an it could use some sort of swivel so the camera could be positioned on different targets. Maybe if you mount it all the way across to the other seat and make a support to something in the back
