so i bought some calipers on here and they diddnt come with hardware and i found a great deal of all the hardware for a 300zx tt and that's the 30mm ? so will the hardware fit on the 26, such as retaining pins and etc. ? i looked up a site of the whole set it seems to say "fits both 30mm and 26mm" ??

I have a pair of both sizes and the hardware is exactly the same.

the pins that the pads hang on should be different since they span the opening (which is different between the 26 and 30mm calipers) and they don't have any extra length on my 26's. they would technically work, but they should have different part numbers. that site may have just been simplifying their stock too much. everything else should work though.

you could try cutting them shorter and drilling a new hole in the longer pins.

from the dealership.. the 26mm is cheaper.
I'm not 100% sure the pins are the same length.
I dont think they are unless they sit in more on the 30mm calipers.

The dealer superceded the 26mm pins with the longer 30mms, either set will work. Everything else is the exact same.
