WTT: 1987 Nissan 200SX (S12)

I've had this S12 sitting in my driveway for the past few months, but haven't had time to deal with it. I'm in massive debt from school/ car payments/ job loss, so it's gotta go now. I bought it because it was low mileage, and I've always wanted one. Whoever buys it next will be the second registered owner of the car.

It's got the CA20E, 5 speed. I planned to swap in a KA24DE with ITB's running on megasquirt. It's a fairly clean body, some small dents, and one spot that needs to be pushed out, but it's straight. I can't find anything that makes me think it's been wrecked. It's a fastback, which I think is the better looking one. The interior has some duct tape on it from the previous owner, I haven't looked too closely at it, but there's probably a way to clean it up.

I drove it home, and parked it. The next day I drove it again, and it ran perfect, I turned it off, and it wouldn't start until it cooled down. It did that for a long time after, now it won't start. I haven't tried for a while, but I doubt it will. I think it's an easy fix since it ran so well before, and then just wouldn't run when it warmed up. I don't have the time or space to deal with this anymore, that's why it's up for trade. We have 2 more cars on the way, and this has to be gone.

This picture shows the spot that needs to be pushed back out. Not a big deal.

Yep, that mileage is correct. This thing seems straighter than my S13, the hood closes like a new car, it's sweet.

I'll trade for lots of things. I'd trade for a sidemount seat, S13 coilovers, etc. I just want stuff for my S13, so let me know what you've got! i can probably add some cash if what you've got is worth more!

Thanks for looking!

Jesus that's less miles than my dad's '03 frontier! I have a small passion for S12s. If only you were in socal, this would be gone without hesitation. GLWS nonetheless.

Fuuuuck.

I'd take this if it were local.

My dad owned an '82 S12 back in the day.

I loved that car.

Good Lord I wish I lived in California. There's a slight chance I could get it there, because I'm headed to Sacramento to pick up another car soon. If there was a sweet enough trade, I'd go for it.

This car has less miles than my S13! It's a GREAT chassis to start working on, and cheap to upgrade.
