Skyline offsets

I'm looking for some good wheel sizes and offsets for R34 GTs. I'm looking for some wheels for one of our R34s. Its the white car on OfficialJDM.com. Its in the process of an rb26dett RWD swap and maybe some suspension so we're lookign for some nice wheels for a decent price to throw on there but im not too sure about what sizes and offsets would work the best.

Any info is appreciated. I've looked on the internet for this but havent found very much. Thanks.

GTR or non-GTR? GTR R34s can run 10j +15 all around with some 245 or 255s all around. Non-GTR, Id shoot for the same as S13s. 9j +20fronts 10j +20 rears.

Just take one of the wheels off.

It'll tell you the offset on the back.

i know, but that would be useless information because i need to know a good offset for a R34 GT, not another R33 GTR.

Essentially GTR 32, 33, and 34's run the similar sizing

I'd say something like a 9.5+12 is normally where you'd want to start all around on a GTR

By the looks of your company though, if you have multiple cars coming in, especially those with wheels already on them, you might as well just test fit wheels and then get an idea of what you are working with. For example, yes those Super Advan Ver II's are on the R33, but why not take them and try to put on the R34 and see where you're at?

Or alternatively just read magazines from Japan with Skyline sizing, or look online for Skylines with wheel sizing and offsets and use that to make a judgement on wheel fitment

There's a ton of knowledge base on the Skyline, especially with wheel fitments, so it shouldn't be very elusive

Also, keep in mind you can always use a wheel that you do know what the fitment is, then measure the distance of where you want to go, then calculate the equivalent wheel sizing

So many different ways to go about it...and also, wheel fitment is very relative...what is "good" fitment? Do you want to modify fenders? What tire sizing are you gonna be running, etc....since "good" is very vague

to the OP, my buddy just picked up a 34 GT4 and he is running 18in CR kais and they fit perfectly with no spacers. i think they are 9.5J and about +25 or so, whatever the lowest offset, widest CR Kai is. the tires are your run of the mill 35 series 245-255 or so.

kinda unrelated but, if i were doing a RWD RB26 (i actually am doing a RWD 2.8L stroker) i would opt for a little more rubber and roll those fenders.

9.5 +10 is good a bit on the aggresive side...
