CEL help.. throwing 4 codes (96 s14) - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

hey guys, my 96 240 is giving off 4 codes for the check engine light..

P0325 = knock sensor problem (bank1)
35 = key cycles since failure
P1447 = purge monitor
0 = key cycles since failure

im not too worried about the knock sensor cuz i could just replace it, but the other three is what im clueless about. what do i about the purge monitor? and what does "key cycles since failure" mean?

help, anyone..

the purge monitor is fuel evaporation system (charcoal canister) and hoses, valve etc.
key cycles after the code is ignition cycles since the code has be stored.

And you didn't search did you

i tried searching the key cycles but no luck..
can't you clean the evap canister?
if so, how?
if not, then i'll have no choice but to replace.
i just need to pass smog

..
