does this lsd unit work well? has anyone had any experience with it. i would think that it would give better limited slip characteristics than vlsd and yet be much cheaper than a full lsd diff. i would consider buying this unit as vlsd being the only other alternative for me

its a POS but it does the job.
if you are seriosu about good LSD action then you'd avoid it.

id go vlsd over it

run a search in tech; someone installed one not too long ago (4~5 months) and gave a review.

I've heard good initial reviews, but bad longevity reviews.

I personally would skip the possible headache and just go with the VLSD. It's about the same prices, and it's easier to install, and will not ever have maintenance issues like the phantom grip.
