ok so i got my s14 and its been driving fine and suddenly im blowin the fuse that goes to my gauges the lights still work and all that just my gauges die and the fuse blows. i am also having issues starting it. it doesnt start smoothly and i also have to give it a bit of gas to get it goin. it cranks hard on first couple of cranks on cold and hot start ups. its very rought then it levels out it even shuts back off sometimes. so any leads would be great. it also has just had a fresh tune up and the IACV has been cleaned out. so im lost now. thanks for any inputs

Fuse is more than likely a bad reverse switch. unplug it and try.

For the starting problem I had the same thing. Does it die at Idle sometimes?? Check the idle adjustment screw. Idle it up a bit till it sits around 8 or 900. fixed my problem and starts fine now. Check battery connections and starter connections that sort of thing. Clean off corrosion and have them checked.

Send a message via AIM to SLeepingPanda
Get your Battery tested and your Starter tested.

Some automotive stores like Kregan do free testing.
