Quick J30 LSD Question?

Hey guys, thinking of purchasing a J30 LSD for my 1995 240SX this weekend but would like to know for sure if I need the shafts as well. I have heard different thing about the J30 LSD bolting directly in with and without them. What year do I need to bolt directly in without shafts? Sorry if this question has been beaten to death on here but I can't seem to find a definite answer. Thank you.

I've got a J30 diff, it came off of a 95. All you have to do is check to make sure the output flanges on the diff have the 3 sets of 2 bolts pattern rather than a 5 bolt pattern. If it's the the 3 sets of 2 then it will bolt up just fine.

Thank you for the help. Looks like I might be getting it for sure this week then.
