s14 Differences btwn 1997 & 1998

I was wondering what the differences (if any) were between the 1997 and 1998 240s. I know the "angry eye" headlights started in 1997, but are there any differences between 97 and 98? Thanks in advance.

The difference between 97 and 98 is that the 98 has a better sound system. The 97 only has 4 speakers where as the 98 has 6. That's basically the main difference. I don't know if the 97 has and LE models, but maybe that's a difference. I don't know, so don't flame on me. But I'm sure about the speaker difference though

Do you mean 6 speakers as in 2 in back, 2 in front, & 2 tweeters on the A-pillar? Maybe that's one of the differences between base-model & SE/LE because my '96 SE has the 6 speakers like that. Can anybody confirm this?

My '95 SE has 2 tweeters in the a-pillars as well. I'm guessing that all SE/LE had these.

Mine's 98 base without the tweeters.

Probably no difference between 97 and 98.

Because it was optional on the base model. My friend has a 96 with the same setup....but my other friend has a 96 base with only two speakers.

my 95 base came with the 2 tweeters in the A pillars.

But the again my base also had all power options and a sunroof. I wonder why the original owner just didnt buy the freakin SE, oh well.

FWIW: I thought all the 98's were just leftover cars from the '97 model year, meaning they're all going to be the same since they were really only made for one year of sales. They just sold that poorly that they had that many left over.
