Does anyone know whats the emblem on taniguchi's s15 headlight? where it suppose to say SILVIA but im guessing when he repainted it he put something else. I wanna know cause im planning on repainting my S15 headlights from Silver housing to BLK housing. since they are factory HID's i dont wanna get rid of them so i just wanna repaint them. plus if taniguchi's light got silvia on it then it would be better for me so i can still keep it that OEM look.

here are some pics. if anyone got anymore clearer more visible pics of his s15 then feel free to post.

or if anyone willing to trade me that would be cool too.

but yea any information would be greatly appreciated.!

yea but i dont htink the chrome silvia emblem would fit in that small spot. cause the emblem is pretty long. more than just hte corner light thats for sure.

uh it says silvia on every single s15 headlamp and he took them apart and painted it red so it looks more visible?

painted housing
clearer light cover

Silvia is in the Glass part not the Housing. So Repainting the housing would not cover up the emblem.

oh..ok thats all i needed to know. always thought that the silvia emblem is on the light by the way it reflect on the light. but now i know that its on the glass. thanks!

They have the letters "NOB" on them where the Silvia was. Suppose to stand for no one better or first three letter of his first name.
You can find out how the NOB looks like in the HKS website.

wrong. the silvia logo is part of the bezel, not part of the lensing.

typically, repainting the bezel a different color will eliminate the silvia logo unless you spend the time to mask and retain the logo like we do.

cause i just had a s15 conversion done on my car and its still in the body shop. i only had a glance at them since it was already at the body shop and i couldnt pass on the deal that they were the legit HID lights, but in silver housings and i never had the chance to really look at them b4. plus havent got a chance to go back ever since then (last week, car should be done this week.

) so just outa ask the ppl that know s chassis best what they think.

Wow, that looks totally different then the ones I worked on. They had like a paint or a transfer on the inside of the cover. I dunno where the guy got them. So they probably weren't real silver housings.

Looks like a PITA to mask off. Nice work.

lol i think you just made another customer. i might be contacting you guys shortly to do my headlights. cause i hate silver haha. idk maybe it will look good on my car cuase my car is silver too.(apex silver) we'll have to see. do i have to send you my headlights to do the black or matteblack paint?

im looking at the superstreet with that silvia in it right now. it definatly doesnt have the NOB emblem and it definatly does not say silvia.

im also 99% sure each headlight has a different emblem. one looks japanese from the passenger side(left side) the drivers side looks like it says "t&eco..." really hard to read though.

Yes. I own an s15 front on my s13...and the silvia emblem is on the bezel. NOT the glass. Masking the silvia emblem is a real pain in the butt
