Clutch Dampener....... remove or not?

So whats your opinion on removing the clutch dampener.............. good or bad?
I know different makes of cars have different results by doing this.

If its felt that this is a plus, Im assuming, like others a stainless line is best to use to fill the gap, so who can give me a part number or a link to this?
