POWER STEERING PUMP FOR SR20.need HELP!!

Alright, well recently I snap my PS belt just driving around and now my pump is leaking like there's no tomorrow, drop after drop. An ive been searching and searching but no luck on interchangeable power steering from any other nissan/infinity model. Or is there? Ive read the "sr20det faq's" but no luck there, All is there is the belts and stuff.

Ive been going to the junkyard lately, and been seeing SOHC/DOHC power steering pump, but their pulleys are way bigger than my SR. Also im not sure if the brackets or the pump will fit correctly with my SR.

How bout the infinity G20 or Nissan sentra SE-R you may ask? They look so similar but the pulley agian is too big compare to mine.

Has anyone have any problem with their power steering and change it?

Ive looked at the OEM part from FRSport.com but thats a little too pricey for my pocket right now, i believe they want 299.99 for them.

A little help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

-john

dude. having a stupid ps belt break is NOT a reason to buy a whole new pump.

you know you can just go to the auto parts store and get one right? its not like its some special part or anything.

count the grooves, measure the length with a string. any knowledgable person behind the parts counter should be able to find the right belt.

EDIT: i fail at reading entire posts.

uhmm.. iono if i should flame you on this or not, but since you got the "edit" there, ill let you slide... dont get me all exciting thinking someone has something good to say but all good. btw. soon as i got my PS belt snap i grab another one from the nearest autozone but i guess going 115mph+ then your belt snapping can have alot of wrong. so i think thats what happened =/

not been lucky @ the junkyard. autozone sells the rebuild kit with the gaskets for the DOHC PS. so i might just try my luck on that. doesnt seem to hard. plus its only like 12.00 for the kit.

DOHC KA, FITS my PS pump actually the same, but i need to swap out the tension bracket and pulley because the KA pulley is HUGE and will be hitting the radiator neck on the motor side.
