Smoked Chrome ?? possible? WRN: FLAME SHIELD : ON

OK.. heres a thought..

i have those cheesy Diamond Cut H4 Conversions..

now the housing inside is chrome.

if i were to say get access to the inside and have it sprayed with Smoke tint would it give the apperance of black chrome?

AND. most importantly would it affect the lighting output?.

and if this is a bad idea for the headlight what about clear corners and bumpers

IE the euro clear lenes... would that work?

Damn, can't get him behind that flame shield :P

Anyhow, don't do it if you value your lighting. Anywhere. At all.

Remember, black absorbs all colors, shiny black isn't much different. With absorbing the colors, you absorb the heat as well (incandescent lights are more of a heat source than a light source, halogens aren't much different). I'd recommend you find a different way to be unique :-)

Take a look at your amber lenses, I am not sure if you'd even be able to see anything worthwhile through there. . .
