4.36 ring and pinion help!

alright so im putting a 4.36 ring and pinion in my car.

problem is, when trying to thread the bolts into the ring gear, they seem to stop, as if they are the wrong thread pitch? anyone care to chime in as to what the problem may be?? maybe i need different bolts? i tried searching but nothing really comes up

There are different sized bolts
Make sure you got the right one for your diff/ring gear

12mm or 13mm bolts. 240's use the 12mm bolts and r-32's (which have 4.36 gears) use the 13mm bolts.

you should be able to get the correct sized bolts.

I know my s15 hlsd needed a 13mm shank and 12mm threading for the ring gear.

my guess is you need what, I accidentally received and sent back 13mm shank at the top and 13mm treading.

Nismo sells them

what differential is this for?
