i need 2 ppl to open my trunk.. i read in the manual that there maybe a kill switch so u need the key to open if.. but my key doesnt work.. and i couldnt find the switch.. anyone know where it is?

if its a cable release, then the "switch" will be right under the latch inside the trunk. most likely with a rubber coated tab, that will need to be pulled up to engage the realese. that is providing that you mean that you need to open it with the key. If your hatch is too heavy, or you need new lifters you hatch will not pop because of the weight

hmm.. i dont have a wrap around 3 pc wing.. so maybe its because of that.. i will try it , thanks

i have a problem with my trunk........... i trunk does not pop when i hit the lever..... i need to use my wallet to hold it up and then go back and lift.......
does anyone else have this problem?

That sounds like a cable tension problem.  The cable isn't tight enough to pop the latch of the hatch.

Actually I think that gh606 got it right. Sounds like the lifters aren't working right so all the weight of the hatch is down on the trunk. it wouldn't be able to pop if that's the case.
