I was there last week talking to a guy bout an sr swap into my new s13-- there all japanese guys workin there and they know there stuff.. check it out!

I was planning to go there a while now. I'm actually going there tomorrow morning before I go to philly for HIN. I talked to the guy on the phone, he said labor is $100/hour. So you kinda figure it that way. Ima get a full estimate tomorrow morning too., If anyone else wants to go tomorrow, maybe we can talk them into a deal. I'm going around 10 or 11ish. Let me know guys. email/PM me.

yea- there really cool people and friendly there- and plus if ur really lucky- u'll seem some really really nice supras or zx's or more behind the shop

hey, did you make it to Sharp Precision? Im curious what they told you about the swap (costs, engine info, etc)

Lemme know if you could. I dont think ill be able to make it there for a while and they havent responded to my email

well just to clear somehting up they do not like to order engines, and from what they told me and blaqsilvia i dont think that they would. they will install it and could probably answer any questions about the motor. o yea btw its not in the freehold area its right off highway 35 in cliffwood beach and its hardly labled.

i just got back from there. (SPI power excel)

they told me that the install would be $1800.

They said they can get the motor too, but its gona end up costing a lot. I'm planning just to get it from FLASHOPTIONS for $2000 shipped. That's a s13 redtop clip (exc. body panels). Just tell them you're a member of the NICO boards and they'll give it to you for that price.

I dont know if I'll be getin it from SPI cuz if they charge $1800, and heavy throlttle only charges $1500, i think I'll just go there. Atleast heavy throttle has the best rep. around.

Did anyone get a swap already from SPI? They said even though you have a uncut harness, there's still more wiring to be done. I dont knowo..whatever

heavy throttle has told me they dont perform the swap anymore

i'd get it done there if they did.
