If its just a few lbs thats its surging at (like 2-3) I really wouldn't worry about it TOO much. Just take some time to fine tune the adjustment on it. drive it around and see how you like how its reacting. Also, just make sure you dont have a vacuum leak..that can make a BOV lazy.

I'm having the same exact problem with mine and I'm trying to search to figure out what the problem is. I've adjusted it all the way out and it makes no difference. I've been told to find a looser spring, but I'm not sure where to get one other than from Blitz directly.

the blitz bov is just kind of shitty imo... I have it pretty soft and the boost leaks out at 6000rpm, but at full stiffness it blows off once I'm at full boost, but anything below it surges, to be quite honest I would be happy just eliminating the bov. seriously it's just a t25.

I have the same issue with my Blitz BOV as well. Loosen it up too much and the engine will stumble between shifts. Tightening it up a bit more and you get surge under low boost. I've come to just accept the characteristics of an atmospheric bov and a maf. I thought about going with Synapse, HKS, or recirculating, but I've also seen those people have the same issue as well. I blew my old turbo which was a used HKS GT2530, but I think that's due to constantly pushing 20 psi rather than the bov. The turbo's been beaten on a lot before I got it too. I've had family members who run with some surge at low boost for years and their turbos are fine. I'll eventually recirculate my bov to see if it helps out though.

either get a different blow off valve or just stop running one. I don't hear of a lot of people running Tial wastegates but full race loves them. I am really partial to them although they're fucking huge.

THis is like super old news guys. Blitz was always known to leak hands down.... There really isn't a fix, but what I might try is to remove the paper gaskey between the bov and the pipe and use rtv.... Try also different heavy duty screws that won't stretch.... Its amazing to me 20 psi blowing outta the thing held down by two little screws...

The Blitz DD BOV is known to leak. We have had issues with their BOV for over 5 years and refuse to run it. HKS SSQV is the cheapest, highest quality BOV on the market.

I know it's possible to buy these bovs with the hard spring already installed, so I wonder how many are out there that people purchased used that have the hard spring unbeknownst to the buyer. |

My Buddy got his in a kit, I think that one is the normal spring. Surging at low boost really doesn't do anything to the turbo.... BUt the thing is, this POS leaks. Can't have that.....
