Max power gain for SR bolt-on parts

Just curious and anxious to know how much power that my bolt-ons are going to put out on the stock s14 sr motor. Since this is my first step of getting healthy reliable power, I'm have following bolt-ons and not planning for any management/tuning yet.

HKS actuator (thinking maybe stock boost or ~10psi)
Tomei manifold
Circuit Sports turbo elbow + downpipe (2 in 1 design)
JIC full titanium 3" cat-back
Cusco cold pipe
Stock hot pipe (looking for an aftermarket one)
S15 SMIC
Stock recirculate bov
Walbro/Tomei fuel pump (still deciding)
Exedy lightweight flywheel
Greddy oil pan
NGK Iridium spark plug

Nothing big. What do you guys say? Maybe another 30~40hp? Any chance of hitting 220whp?
The motor is being refreshed with new nismo thermostat, water pump, gaskets, new rubber hoses, belts and new RTVs.
Compression test was decent when I bought the motor: 145-140-145-150

What turbo are you running?

If its a T25 you'll get around 240ish (Safe Max 14psi)

T28 your probably looking around 260-270ish depending on boost levels (safe is 14-15psi) although some ppl make close to 300 but that with Cams and a tune

You aren't really doing too much for gains. You might get like 30HP er so on top of stock.

It will be at the wheel but probably no higher than 240

They both have 370cc injectors. 240WHP-ish is the most i'd be expecting running safely.

Haha right I was thinking if he had some 550's and an SAFC

Here's a thread I made a while ago, mine was a Red Top with a T28 and page 2 has a dyno graph from 95KA-Turbo and his S14 SR Dyno

You'll be injector limited, so about 250 rwhp or so safely. It'll probably hit that around 12-13 psi.

I made 205 rwhp with a stock redtop with just a turbo back exhaust(Trust outlet pipe, 3" from there) and stock boost(about 9 psi after the exhaust). So you should be much higher than that with a T28 and a few more mods and boost.

Yeah the injectors are the biggest thing holding you back, followed by the MAF, and before both of those a tune.

I am making ~235whp SAE corrected on 10psi.

With some sort of tune and S15 injectors I am hoping for ~270-280whp. I've got to get some more expendable income to do that though.

If I were you I'd try my best to grab an Ebay intercooler setup. It's going to be better and safer than the sidemount. You can snag them pretty cheap sometimes.

If nothing else really consider it.

woo nice, do you think s15 smic would be sufficient enough for above 240whp?

That is why you get a programmable engine managment system like the haltech.

And just with the stuff listed off, you are looking at 210 @ a dynojet and maybe 189 on a dynodynamics.

All your exhaust upgrades have done for you is let you run allot more "flow" out the exhaust, but at 10psi, there is probably no difference in numbers vs stock exhaust, if anything the larger piping is probably hurting mid-range tq.

The other thing you can do is now get more timing out of the engine before knocking, so its something to consider (getting a programmable tuning platform like the Haltech EMS)

It would be kind of sketchy, you'll be losing power/dealing with heatsoak over 10-11psi on a SMIC...whether it be a S14 or S15 SMIC (I've heard the S15 one is a little better). ARC, Blitz, and I believe HKS made upgraded SMICs that are much thicker and let you run more boost.

If you can make your own piping look into a Evo 8 FMIC. I got mine for dirt cheap and it fits perfectly in where the AC condensor used to be....it also fits great up front and allows you to still keep your fog lights should you want an actual front mout intercooler.

I made 273 WHP and 280 WTQ on S14 SR. Stock Turbo, Injectors, ECU and MAFS. Full bolt ons and FMIC.

12.6 PSI and Leanest AFR of 12.2.
