S14 SR20DET odd sound. Any help?

YouTube - MOV01236

I'm trying to determine what this sound is. I don't know if it's rod knock, VTC rattle, a bearing on an accessory, etc. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Tell people to watch the second movie, cause the first one is a waste of timing.... Sounds like something is loose, check your chain tension and maybe retorque your cam caps...... It might be vtc, but check your cams to see if there is any dry or burnt scours on the cam

i edited it for you so the first one is the helpful one.

what would "scours" look like?

it gets louder the longer the car runs. at startup its almost inaudible.

Like this is relatively light wear, but some might be grooved or really burnt black:

the first video sounds like my KA. but the second sounds alot worse... sounds like a rod knocking... but id assume it would be louder. maybe its just cuz the mic was close. could be a lifter maybe? does it get faster and louder when u get on it? i really couldent tell from the first 1. ive thrown a rod before tho, so thats my guess... but i dont have an sr.. so maybe im way off
