![]() Hey all, heres the deal. I'm looking to get a S14 SE real soon, but the only ones for sale are auto. I have a 89 SE sittin in the yard with a 5sp transmission, but theres 190K on it. I was thinking, since I already have everything for a manual trans swap, would it be possible to transfer the 89 trans to the 95-98? Like are they exactly the same from 89-98? Also, in terms of the high mileage problem...What would be good to replace? I would replace clutch/flywheel, but anything besides that? Would the KA24E trans bolt right up to the KA24DE? Is this a good idea at all? Thanks for the input.
