Its never a bad thing to have new gaskets on your car. I personally wouldn't touch mine unless they were blown or I was tearing the motor apart. How many miles are on the motor?

I bought one for a Z32 so I imagine their kit should include almost every gaskets you would need for the whole engine, including valve seals, oil drain plug crush-washer and the rubber seal for the oil filler cap. The only thing they forgot on mine was the rubber, half-circle plugs on the valve covers and the o-ring for VVT.
