What is the purpose of a pivot retractor? The packaging is completely in Japanese. I recently bought and installed it via mechanic. Although it seems i had the misconception that you could place them into sleepy mode and drive with them lit in sleepy. Any feed back from anyone with the pivot retractor coversion could help i think, What is it used for solely? Providing air to the engine bay? Sleepy headlight driving? i don't know.

I'm about to get some HID's in and i'd like to know b4 i get them in.
