A/C Idle Issue

K trying to troubleshoot this issue. When I turn my AC on, compressor kicks in, blower works, fan turns on, everything works fine. Only thing is that my Idle isnt bumping up like its supposed to. I got a PFC and did a sensor check, doesnt seem to be seeing the signal that the AC is on. I'm trying to understand how the ECU is supposed to see this signal. Is it a seperate signal thats coming from the back of the AC Controller or is it tied into the system?

This is on a S14 chassis by the way...

under the "Idle/Rev" function you can set the idle of what you want when the A/C is turned on.

Did you set that?

Yup, I already maxed that out, didnt make a difference. Like I said, I checked the sensor check and the AC isnt highlighted.

on the s13, the ecu supplies ground to ficd and a/c relay supplies positive to ficd. the ground from ecu can be interrupted by an ambient switch. i would confirm that the ficd is not getting the ground. the fsm might say how ecu decides to send ground.

if your running an s14sr zenki harness pin number 9 on the ecu needs to see the signal from the triple presure switch.

Check the following
Pin #9 on the ecu
Pin #25 on the white plug
essentailly these correspond to each other. it should be a green/yellow wire.

Note: as stated above check the fsm manual and trace the wire.

Imma give it shot, shits a lil tricky for me. Running a hacked up S15 wiring harness/PFC on an S14 zenki chassis.

Right now, Im getting inputs of jumping the ECU all together since all I really need is a signal to the IACV. I was told the IACV gets a 5V input signal to open up for the AC. If its true, anybody know which wire needs the signal? There are 2 plugs going into the IACV.

Let the ECU figure out what to do with the IACV - opening it all the way when the AC is on might not be the best answer.

Check the pins that Jorge posted first, that could be an easy fix.
