SR red top sr20 need help bad!!!!

hi guys this is my first post here and not a very good one i just got my motor back about a week ago so i was really excited to install it every thing went smoth got it in and wired up so we thought at first the car wouldnt turn on it was turning over but found out it wasnt getting fuel so we poped open the fuel tray and boom the fuel pump just started working... kinda weird but what ever then it started we were really excited when out of no where the car shut off and blew the egi fuse its the 25a fuse under the hood so i replaced it and then it poped agin right when we put the key to .. on.. then i realized it actually fried my ecu so by now im so pissed off its killing me the pin on the ecu that was fried was 36 i looked it up and is says ignition so does anyone have any clue what it may be i would really appreciate it thanks...

You might have a short.

Check for bad wires because you said that when you popped the fuel pump cover open it just randomly started to work. So it sounds like a faulty wire(s)
