im thinking about getting this lsd. i havent found a lot of discussion lately about kaaz 2 ways, or the one for the open diff. i should not have to get lsd outputs right? ive heard a few complaints of clicking noise with the kaaz. im sure most of these are due to improper break in. does nismo make a lsd for about the same price that comes with the outputs? i can find this out, im really just asking about the kaaz

I'd go with Kaaz, for what I hear good LSDs are noisey LSDs. The one Nismo makes, which is the cream of the crop is hella more expensive than the Kaaz, and IMO the Kaaz 2 way diff is just as good as the Nismo one (plus save ya a couple hundred too)

You need the lsd output shafts if you have open diff. For the kaaz, I've seen just the lsd for around 750, but that's without the shafts. Buying those brings the total cost closer to 1000 (depends on where you get them, though, I suppose). Correct me if I'm wrong, but the SSS comes with the shafts and that's also in the neighborhood of 1000.

i've talked to the kaaz people and they told me they will come out with an lsd that doesn't require new side shafts. they should have them in mid summer. that means you'll save $200 to $250 on the side shafts. so if i were you, i'd wait a few more months. and yeah, the kaaz people told me the clicking noise is just a normal part of breaking them in.

yep! kaaz has a new and improved LSD coming out!!!!

should be SWEET

also ATS is another LSD company (very repuatable) that makes units the DONT require sideshafts, meaning itsa drop in job if you have open diff!

google for ATS USA or ATS LSD

VERY reputable and great company.

this new kaaz 2 way was the one i was talking about. it is what i am going with. i thought that i had already seen it forsale somewhere on the net but may have been mistaken. its worth the wait anyway. i know some noise is expected from these 2 way lsds im still going to pay a lot of attention to my break in.
