Most likely it's leaking from your shifter hole (that rubber boot that goes around the shifter is probably busted), and it drips down to those low areas before forming into drops.

Take your shifter trim off, you'll see oil - replace the rubber seal up top, enjoy no more leaks.

could be leaking from the reverse sensor/switch too. or the 5th gear sensor i believe it's called.

you want to plug you sensors?
we usually just put a small coat of RTV on the threads to prevent leaking.

Listen to this man, RTV, Tephlon tape, thread sealent, things like that for sensors and fittings. For ur drain plug make sure the copper washer that goes on is not all bent up usually that can cause leaks after a few removals of the drain plug. Add some of the above and change the washer.
