![]() Okay just got fogs for my zenki, never had em before. Supposedly from searching I've done, the car is already wired for them. Question is where exacly does the wires end for me to pug by the fogs. I see some wiring bundled up on both sides of the car behind the bumper near the reinforcement, but the end plugs don't match the fog.
Also do I need the se wiper stalk with the fog switch to turn on the lights, or can I just use the non fog stock for now and they'll cut on anytime i turn the headlights on? Also just looked, the socket under my fuse box cover for the fr fog relay has no relay plugged in it, so I guess I wll need that? The 15 fuse for it is there though. I'm trying to do this so all I need is the relay right now..don't wanna go and fork out money for the fog light headlight stock just yet if I don't have to. So looking at that link is he basically doing what I'm trying to do..fun the oem non fog stalk and power the fogs when the headlights come on. Would the simpler solution be to just be the fog stalk to avoid all that wiring? In that case all I woud need is the relay he mentioned, fog stalk, and find my wiring that should already be on the car? That way it's all plug and play no wiring? Appreciate any info, now it seems like I might be better off just getting that stalk, since I kinda wanted to anyway |

Looking at that it seems just getting the fog stock would make everything plug and play so long as i get the relay too correct? Want a clean install, so I guess that would be the way. |

Sorry for the 2nd double post lol, first one never showed up when I refreshed the page. To answer your question, I'm thinking about using some bulbs I bought when i ran generic fogs, which are 12v 55w

Lol that's cool. On another note i just went out and found the wiring with the plug ends. I was looking at different wires before that didn't match the fogs.
So now just down to relay and se fog stock..relay look like it's need either route I go..non se stock or se stock |

Carlos's method above is to run them with the parking lights.
Plug the lights in, the leads are taped up behind the turn signals. Plug the relay in under the hood. Plug the switch in, or if you don't have the switch, tie to two leads together. OE setting, they come on only with the lowbeams. Follow the rewire if you want them on with the parking lights instead.

It is. You only rewire if you want them to work on other settings. All parts plug right in, no work required.

Alright just bought an se combination switch/stock on ebay..all left is the relay. If I recall correctly..the nissan relays are color coded and those with the same color are the same type of relay. Could I pull a relay of the same color from the fuse box of a parts car or salvage car, something like that? Friend might have some still on his parts car.
