collapsed radiator hose

what can cause the upper radiator hose to callapsed, its a brand new hose. also its been running hot. 91 240sx

your return hose from the overflow might be clogged, or you may have a bad radiator cap, which doesn't relieve the vacuum in the system once it cools down.

the collapsed hose may be whats causing it to overheat.

Go thru and check your thermostate, headgasket, and cooling system in general and see whats causing it to "run hot"...
