about power steering
had a question about how to remove my power steering? am i able to just remove the pump and just relay the hose back or is there another way it should be done ?

But it's not like there's a three page thread on here about depowering the rack.

That's not depowering the rack. Again, there's three pages of how-to discussion on here. Looping the lines is a shitty, janky way of doing it. But we are talking about 240SX owners.

Correctly depowering the rack and making it a true manual rack adds more road feel and feedback as well as reducing weight and drag on the engine. There is still a lot of low speed resistance though as any car with a manual rack.
Looping the lines only eliminates weight and drag, but you still have shitty feedback, twitchy steering, and dead spots through the turning radius. The gains don't really outweigh the losses, but people like to think they're more hardcore without it.
