actually is 180 and 240 the same?
and ....is the body style and the wheel base length the main different between 91 and 98 ?

i m considering to buy a 240 ... either 91-93 couple or 95-96 SE
can u guys tell me why and why not buy either one ?

i like the back light of the 91-93 couple but do they only come with 4 lugs ? i dont really like the hatchback ...

and 95-96 looks good overall but i dont like the backlight ....

i know q's are kinda newbieish but help plz

Japan car were named silvia and 180sx. America car were named 240sx.
180 and 240 hatchback look almost identical.
91 and 98 look very different .
buy the s14 because i have one.
you can make the s13 5 lug if you want.

All stock S13 240SX's had 4-lug wheels, fastback and coupe. Base model S14 240SX's used 4-lug wheels as well, while S14 SE and S14 LE trims used 5-lug, 5spoke alloy rims.

1991-1994 240SX used S13 chassis. 1995-1998 240SX used S14 chassis. Since they had different chassis, almost everything (besides the engine) was different. From 1991-1998, the KA24DE engine was used in all 240SX's. However, some things are interchangeable between the chassis, such as front seats.

there is no 'better'
its about driver and car setup
cant decide what to buy? that's pretty sad.

depends what you want to do
lightweight? fast? s13
stiffer chassis, comfort? s14
newer? less mileage: s14
cheaper insurance? easily replaceable? s13

each has it plus and minus
both are great and no disappointment
dont ask for our opinion because we'll flame you (well i will)

you should be a big enough boy/girl to think for yourself. unless mommy needs to change your diaper. googoogaagaa.
see i've started already

It is really up to you if you want a s13 or s14 a s13 has less weight ad is easily replaceable thus costing less ok but you need to make sure there is not supspension damage.I have a s14 97 and it is a great car but the s13 is also great I have driven both and I perticarly like the s14 better. But everyone has their own opions. The s14 is more exspencive both insurance and price usally unlike the s13 cus of its age.SO search the links in the link section and check out the archives area and you can see what the cars are like and decide from there.
