Extrude Honing - Recommendations

Howdy,

I'm looking for recommendations (and contact details) to have extrude honing done in the US. I am from Australia and the only place that does this process in Australia won't touch twin scroll exhaust housings because of their previous experience.

I plan on buying a housing from Full-Race and having it shipped directly to the said recommended shop. Its the 3071/76 .78 AR ex housing if that makes any difference. Geoff at full-race has emailed an extrude hone shop (not sure which one) on a few occassions on my behalf but they have not replied....so I have to go it alone.

Preferably, they should have experience with twin scroll housings given the comments from the local shop.

Look at the GT2871R thread.... codyace had has manifolds extrude, honed, and coated... He listed the shop in that thread... so check with him...

hey im good friends with cody ace and i built the same set up as him and im about 95% sure this is where we sent mine too

Out of interest did you end up with the same hp result as Codyace given you replicated his setup?

yeah i was only off a few hp but we think that was due to the freddy intake manifold that i used and the different gears that we have (4.40 vs 4.60) not that that would make a huge difference

yeah it def is...he helped me with building the motor and all that other stuff so hes a good guy with a killer setup
