WTB S14 Manual Driveshaft + Others

Actually, I'm not sure which one I need. I have a Kouki 98 automatic with ABS.

Swapping a blacktop S13-SR20DET in. ABS or Non-ABS manual driveshaft? I don't plan on keeping ABS in the car. I know there's about an inch difference in the two shafts... but what actually dictates which shaft is needed? The chassis can't be the defining factor.

Going in also with the SR is a cusco 2way in an opendiff pumpkin. Sooooo.... any experts? That are also selling? =)

i have an ABS driveshaft from a 95 Base model.

it should fit,

I think I found my answer. The abs shaft is 1" shorter because the abs models came with VLD's that had 1" longer input shaft protrusion due to the abs sensor being there.

Since I'm using an S13 SR and the tranny length etc all mount up the same, the difference is in the Diff. I'm going to be using my cusco 2way from my S13 though... which is installed in a non-abs s13 diff housing.

Long story short, because of the non-abs s13 diff, I'm going to need the longer non-abs shaft.

i have a non abs one but im in PA. And, i used a non abs in an abs car..don't see why you can't reverse it?

Hrm.. I'm not sure. The extra length was probably covered by the tranny end then... probably went in a little more.

I'd just prefer it to match the right way. Anal like that.
