SR tranny sensor question

i am a noob to posting on this forum and not actually using it as a resource... i have searched and came up with good info but not anything regarding my particular dilemna.. any help would be greatly appreciated.
ok guys i have a 91 240sx and a 98 180sx sr20det.. my question is i have swapped in the ka speed sensor being that i have a mph gauge cluster, it slipped in fine, but when i went to wire it up i see that the ka does not "plug" into the sr lower tranny harness meaning that i would have to splice the wires.. this is my question on the ka sensor the wires are just a solid green and black on the sr lower harness the wires are yellow and yellow/blue stripe.... does anyone know which wire would splice into which..

thanks,

Nick

Mine went right in... are you on the right wire?

yup i am sure that it is the correct wire// now on my old sr (redtop) the plug was exactly the same.. wires same color and the ka sensor plugged right into the harness... now on the s13 blacktop the sensor first of all looked different.. and the wiring is also different.. ont he blacktop the harness plugs right into the back of the sensor unlike the ka where you can unclip it up a bout 12" from the sensor.

thanks for your help
