auto - sr20det?

hey wats up people. i was just wondering if there are any disadvantages to throwing in an sr20det into an s13 that was originally an automatic. i know a little bit more work is required, but i just want to know if there might be some things that manual s13 have an advantage over autos. and im talking about the ACTUAL CAR, not the motor or tranny differences and what not. thanks

Assuming you want an SR with a manual to replace a KA with an automatic...

It's the same as a KA auto -> manual swap. Same parts required, same procedure.

i don't mean installation procedure. i meant is there any differences in the actual car. are there any difference in the chassis of the auto and manual?

no differences beyond the holes in the firewall for the clutch master. which are outlined on the automatic car but not drilled out. Chassis's are the same.
