I'm tired of hearin BITCHIN about "RICERS"

SO WHAT?? What's wrong with a honda?? As you can see, in japan crx's, civics, etc. as well as many FF cars, make great racing cars, track or street!!

And what's wrong with putting on decals, changing lights, etc. ?!?!

I like having decals on my s14, i want to change the lights, and i don't car what anyone thinks. but i also beleive in performance FIRST. Especially track and drifting. So i will "rice" out my car to certain extents but not put anything that would harm my performance such as wings that arent effective, etc.

But then again, what's wrong with wnating a car and wanting to making it look good and be about image?? i dont hear people complaining about lowriders, cadillacs, muscle cars, being done for either looks, performance or BOTH. so why should we fight amongst our import brethren??

i dunno, i could go on and on, i just needed to vent out some frustration since i am a CAR lover first and foremost and it just gets to me when ppl are like, "i hate hondas" or "domestics are better thatn imports" vice versa etc. etc.

well the bottom line is ,HAVE FUN WITH YOU CAR!!! WHO CARES WHAT OTHERS SAY OR THINK!! LOOKS OR PERFORMANCE ITS UP TO YOU!!

take my own advice haha, but yeah i got a couple of option videos regarding FF performance, and how can u say ppl dont buy hondas and pretend that they are performance vehicles. THEY ARE!! nsx, s2000, si and type r.

honda in japan isnt 1/2 as popular as a MR or FR setup. NSX YES. s2000..no not really. Type R, yeah it was.

but the FR will still dominate in popularity and market

anywyas..whatever. there's a reason Type R parts are SO EXPENSIVE: because no one buys those things

Dood all this rice is kinda what steered me away from getting a Honda. I mean, don't get me wrong, they are great cars and I was all bout getting a '94 Accord Wagon w/ an H22a swap, but if I was going to have a Honda, I would want to show these fewls how it's done, but unfortunately I am not on that kinda budget yet. A black 91-93 240sx fastback can suit my needs stock for awhile. I'd be paying atleast 5G if not more for a better condition Accord Wagon. With the money I will be saving getting a 240, I can have an SR20DET swap by the end of the summer!!!

Oh, and I am not saying Honda's are the only cars being riced, just the majority. I've seen my share of riced out Cavalier's, Lumina's, Eclipse's, Talon's, Neon's, Stratus, and yes, I even saw a Geo Metro that someone added exhaust and thought he was Fast & Furious

does anyone know if the s2000 is popular, i mean isnt it a good drift car? but as far as price, if its as much as it is here, then its way too expensive!

and how does 4wd drive do over there?? i know that its the MAIN thing in europe!

my friend tells me Subarus sell like CRAZY in japan. legacys, STis..etc etc
sell graet. subaru is very popular.

s2000 is underpowered, imho
when you can get a nicer car, 4 door, w/ near 280 hp..yeah pretty weak

i HEARD honda sells mostly family vehicles/sedans more then the sports car lines, but i dont know the truth to that. some of our japanese webboard members can fill us in on what's going on and what is popular/common.
