s14 CLEAN paint job!

hey

i just got done putting on my kouki front end and i will have the GP sports type R kit by the end of the month. now, all i need is a paint job.
i am looking for something very clean and sleek...i was thinking of Silver, and black or blue for my second choices...
i just want to get some ideas of what would look sick on my car...i think silver will always look clean and classy...as well easy to keep clean.
Should i get a stock paint job from another car?(350Z silver, skyline silver, skyline blue, 350Z blue, lexus silver, ferrari 360 modena silver, or gunmetal silver...ETC)
OR
Should i get a custom color, like take one of those from above and add some pearl, flake, metallic..etc...
OR
should i go all out and get a candy or color changing(NOT chameleon - something like 350Z blue fade to dark blue)
i dont wanna over do it...and i certainly dont wanna look like a ricer...soo far i have been thinking about getting a silver or get a silver w/ some blue pearl...maybe a silver w/ gumetal pearl..i dunno..someone help me..give me some ideas..give me some opinions on certain colors or ideas that would look good with my setup..
thanx

if you want to see some really cool paint, check out the paint they used on volkswagen corrados. they had a sweet pearl blue that changed green or purple, a black that had dark purple pearl...some sweet stuff.

if you want a sick A$$(literally) color, go for a birght *** green or a crappy mustard yellow...

right now im diggin a candy apple red, or a skyline blue for my 240sx... but since im not into the BLING BLING factor... im leaving it flat black

Well if you wanna show off your kit but still keep it clean, a silver color would be nice. Blue is my favorite color so I'm partial to that too. But for a car I would definately choose BLACK. Like the GP Sports s13 with the SMOOTHING kit!

I just got a paintjob, I got 2002 Nissan Gloss White on my 97, I absolutely LOVE it. Its just a straight white, no metallic, no pearl. I'll post some pics if I can.

pos pics

hey

i would really like to see some of the colors yall are talking about...cherry black(black w/ red pearl) , black with blue pearl...
silver w/ blue pearl..

what is the difference btw the 2 silvers for the skyline...i really like the skyline silver...its bright and metallicy....i think i might go with this color...is it the same as the 350Z silver??S2000 silver??

where do i found color codes for cars...i have searched a bit and couldnt find alot on japanese car that arent mad in america.

so far my favorite ideas for a pain job are:
1. silver w/ lots of metallic
2. same silver w/ a hint of bayside blue pearl
3. Blue - bayside blue, 350Z blue...
4 black - glossy no pearl
5. black w/ red or blue pearl...

does anyone know how that paint works...can you use pearl or metallic on any color...like would a bright pearl look good on a dark color, or visa versa...

What about candy paiint jobs...what do these look like?? could i get a candy silver????

if anyone knows where i can look at custom paint job pics on the web...please send addys...i have been looking everywhere...i can only find motorcycle pics..please help me out!

I love the stock grey-brown color. My S13 is this color and I dont even know the real name...pathetic. But, I love this color. Its pretty easy to keep clean, and it hides dirt since it is almost the same color as dirt. There's a pic below. I don't think this car would be as nice if it was any other color, except maybe black. But, black is too hard to keep clean.

that pic is possible by Dousan, I jacked it from him.
