![]() OK I bought a spec stage 3 clutch had my flywheel resurfaced also i did my rear main seal while i was working on that end of the motor. but now i have a major clutch slip under hard acceleration in every gear. i did everything rite this isnt my first clutch job im just at a dead stop with this.
motor b/t sr20 with a t28 dont think i have the hp to slip this clutch. can you guys give me some ideas. why is this clutch doing this?

its probably you clutch master cylinder, thats what cause my slippage when i had my new lightweight flywheel and clutch kit put on, or your pedal is too high when you engage the clutch ???

1500 + on the clutch before hard driving.

It doesn't take that many miles to break it in. It also depends if its highway or city driving. I beleive 300-500 is recommended. I live in NYC and with the amount of stop-and-go driving, (and my light flywheel, which forces me to take off from a higher rpm) after 150 miles I would be comfortable thats its broken in.

You've said this twice, but this would have no effect. The pressure plate WANTS to keep the clutch squeezed against the flywheel. The only way this is not happening is: A) wrong pressure plate/clutch B) not tightened down correctly C) preloaded the clutch (need to adjust the clutch pedal out some and rebleed).
